Book Review: Soaking in God’s Presence (Paul Yadao & Leif Hetland)

God wants us to partner with Him in accomplishing His Will on this earth. At the core, prayer is coming to a place of deep union with God, our spirit with His Spirit, being filled with Him. Coming out from the place, we bring and release His supernatural world to the world around us. Soaking prayer is not a new discovery as much as it is recovery of a spiritual path to a lifestyle of intimacy with God paved by countless heroes of the faith.

Through this manual, listen to the hearts of Leif Hetland and Paul Yadao as they lead you into: The heart of soaking, Being still to hear His voice. The rhythm of heaven. Creating a culture of soaking.

soakingSoaking in God’s Presence is one of the best books I’ve read. I am currently in a class and this is the book we are studying. At the end of each chapter we are soaking in God’s Presence for 15 to 20 minutes and then either writing down our soaking experience and encounter with the Lord or sharing it with the class. It has brought us into a deeper and more intimate relationship with God. During our soaking time some are delivered from limited beliefs and some are reporting that God actually solves their problems during their soaking time. Some are being healed of soul wounds they received even as children, such as abandonment, abuse, neglect, etc. During soaking we are getting refueled, refreshed, encouraged and equipped to continue to go out and perform our various ministry’s with a new dedication and exuberance. Soaking can brings us into and atmosphere of peace that stays with us all day long regardless of what chaos may be happening all around us.” – Lynda Keller

“What an awesome time with God as I was reminded of his great love and desire to be with us and impart impart himself to us through quiet times of waiting. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants more of God and needs a reminder of how good He is.” – Janet B. Stephens

“God had told me to soak in His presence and He would change my heart. This book taught me more about how to do just that. I love it and you will too.”  – Margie Kinslow

“A wonderful book of encouragement to go deeper with Father God & especially as we approach this Easter time. A blessed book.” – Sandra Beavis
